After spending a few days in Tennessee, we packed up and drove back to Charlotte. There, we stayed overnight with my sister, Meredith, and her husband, Harry. The next morning, Edward left with our rental car. He dropped it off at the airport and hopped on a plane back to Arizona...duty calls. Since we had already spent the money to get to the East Coast, the kids and I decided to stay an extra week to go and visit my family. So, I was able to borrow Harry's seven-seat crossover (thanks again guys!!!!) to fit all of my carseats (yes, three). The kids and I then drove over to my parents' house in Wilmington. If you add up our driving, it's three-and-a half hours from Kodak (outside of Knoxville) to my sister's in Charlotte. It's then about four-and-a half hours from Charlotte to Wilmington.
Our first order of business was to hang out with Grandma and Grandpa for awhile. As soon as we got out of the car, Luke trooped off to the garage, saying, "I've got to find Grandpa." Then, he went right to the lawn mower for a ride around the cul-du-sac.

Aunt Mer and Uncle Harry were also there for the 4th of July weekend. As you can see, my boys attacked Aunt Mer.
Wes needed a bottle. Anytime he dropped one of his bottles, Alex was there to pick it up and take a drink...he misses his bottles.
The babies spent a lot of time riding in the wagon.
