Dollywood's Splash Country

We had been wanting to make a trip to Splash Country and were able to visit Nana and Pop Labor Day weekend to make that happen.

We had a great time with very warm weather. We ended the evening by watching both Clemson and Tennessee football games.

First Day of School, 2014-2015

The first day of school! Madison-4th grade, Luke-2nd grade, and Alex-Kindergarten

At our bus stop...Alex and Claire have attended school together since they were two. They have always been in the same class until this year. Luckily, they still see each other and had to pose for a Pifture today! Alex will really miss Claire this next year when she has to move to Kansas for the year.

Our bus stop gang! Delaney-5th grade, Cole (her twin)-5th grade, Colt-4th grade (Madison's class), and then our crew. Madison, Delaney, Cole, and Colt are four of the 10 kids on the school's Battle of the Books team. We have such a great group at our bus stop! It tends to get a bit nerdy with all the book talk, but I love it (and have been reading the books too).

Off they go for another year!

The Flash Lives On

We used to have daily sightings of The Flash in our house. He disappeared for months but has started to reappear sometimes.

Summer's End

Our awesome summer came to an end in August. Mellow Mushroom ran a great lunch deal one day, so we decided to go for one last outing. We ran into several people from school while we were there. Everyone has the same ideas!

When we got home, we heard the ice cream truck...a true sign of summer, even when it is ending.

Boating Fun with Aunt Mer, Uncle Harry, and Alaina

In August, we took Aunt Mer, Uncle Harry, and Alaina out on the boat.  We had so much fun, and we think Alaina love bouncing around in the tube.  It was a beautiful day, and we hope to do it again.
