The Beach

No trip to Wilmington would be complete without a trip to the beach. We like to go to the beach down at Caswell Beach on Oak Island. It was a rather windy day at the beach, but we enjoyed our time nonetheless. Mom, Karen, and Wes came along with my crew for our outing.

The babies are back in the wagon. This provided a lot of entertainment during the day.

Madison enjoyed running to the water and back.

Karen and Luke built a castle of sorts. I tried to do the same with Luke, but he likes to stomp on them right away.

The highlight of the afternoon was watching the dolphins swim by. They usually appear during a beach visit, and we weren't disappointed. There were six or seven in the group we saw, and they swam up and down the coastline most of the time we were there.

The sad, but true, event of the afternoon was watching a sister fight with the group sitting next to us. They were umm, interesting, and we all wondered if they would end up rolling around in the sand. They didn't but I think we heard every cuss word man has ever said during their fight. They were about my age, and wow, can we say trashy? The beach is really clean, but they were definitely the trash on the beach that day. What made it all the worse is that their kids all heard the event. It was insane!!! It entertained us, along with several other beachgoers for quite awhile. Gotta love it! If only Meredith had been there, we could have gotten into our own sista' fight :)
