Our Time in Tennessee

While we flew to Tennessee for Nana's funeral, we still had a nice time visiting family. Family seemed to be the focus of the weekend, which was really nice.

After Nana's funeral, the family gathered at Edward's aunt and uncle's house for food and some quality time. They have an inground pool, so with eight little kids, we quickly found ourselves in the pool.

Luke was delighted to see a diving board.

Some of the guys decided to become a human catapult.
Mackenzie, the kids' cousin, took a turn.

Kennedy's turn, the kids' second cousin.

Sydnee's turn, another second cousin

Of course, Luke had to take a turn too.

Madison hated missing some of her swimming lessons in Arizona. She practiced what they were working on while we were in Tennessee. As you can see, she's been working on diving.

As you can see, she needs more practice :)

I enjoyed drying off with Madison.

Cousin Kaitlann

Alex loves to be thrown into the air (all of our kids love it).

Sydnee enjoyed squirting her mom.

After a long flight, a drive, a funeral, and a couple of hours in the pool, Alex was tired and ready for a nap.
