The weather has been so crazy here that the strawberry season has not been that great. In fact, the local farm announced that they were just about out of strawberries, so the fields were open to pick for free. Well, the first day of summer vacation was beautiful, so we stopped by to see what we could find.
There weren't a lot of strawberries, but we managed to get half of a big bucket. It was really hot and humid too, so I give the kids credit for sticking it out...they wanted strawberries! It was awesome to get them free too!
