Madison and Luke spent this week with our church at Camp Rockfish for daycamp. They went each day from 9-3 and had a GREAT time!! We could not have asked for better weather; it was a beautiful week, and it never rained. Tuesday was gloomy, but again, it never did rain. The temps were great too, with the highs being around 88. Even better was that Thursday and Friday had very low humidity, a rarity here in North Carolina. They so enjoyed camp this week with the other kids from church. The church took 60 K-5th graders to camp. Activities included swimming in the pool everyday, lake swim, mud walk, archery, canoeing, arts and crafts, primitive fire building, shelter building, hayride, reptile center, and many others!! Both kids are really looking forward to overnight camp later this summer.
We are so thankful for their great week. God is good!
