Uncle Jason (Edward's brother) came up from Georgia to say good-bye to Edward before he left. The kids had fun talking to him about wildlife, one of his passions.
Uncle Clay (my brother) was in North Carolina from Oklahoma for the weekend. He stayed with us this past Friday night before National Guard Drill. He was finishing up his command here in NC and is switching to a Reserve group in Texas. We had our first dinner on the patio with him, and while it sounded nice, the flies were terrible.
He did a great job reading stories too, especially to two little boys who are missing their dad.
