Today is Luke's fifth birthday, and we spent the afternoon in Durham, NC cheering on our Clemson Tigers. We took the kids to a Clemson vs. Duke baseball game and had a great time. Luke and Madison are playing t-ball again this year, enjoying all of it, so they really enjoyed watching the Tigers play. It was a beautiful afternoon with temps about 60. To top it off, our Tigers won, 11-5.

The kids didn't remember our last game at Duke (right before we moved to Arizona when they were 1 and just 3). We promised that games were fun, full of yummy hotdogs, popcorn, and peanuts. They loved eating lunch there.
Alex was SO excited to eat peanuts. He and Luke love them.
Alex stole Edward's hat. I think we'll have to get him one.
Madison took it too.
After the game, we stopped by a favorite, Sweet Tomatoes. We don't have one in Faytteville, but we frequently stop at the one in Cary when up in the Raleigh area. It was also a huge favorite of ours in Phoenix and San Diego. Our kids love salads and soups, so this works well for us. It didn't hurt that they had a great ice cream station for dessert.
The birthday boy said he had a great day, ending it with two bowls of ice cream at dinner, topped with every topping at the bar (chocolate syrup, caramel syrup, crushed Oreos, peanuts, granola, and sprinkles)...only because it was his birthday :)
