Last week brought about the kids' Christmas plays. With Edward in Tampa, I didn't get a lot of pictures, considering I always had two kids with me in the seats. Luke had his play on Wednesday, and Madison had her school play on Thursday.
Luke had a blast singing his Christmas songs. While many of the kids were shy on stage, Luke seemed like a natural.
For one of the songs, they had the kids dance. Luke is dancing with his good friend, Kate. She's made many appearances on our blog. Kate didn't enjoy being on stage, but seemed to warm up when she had to dance with Luke.
When Santa came after Luke's play ended, he was the first to volunteer to see Santa. He had a really good afternoon. The funniest thing Luke did during the play was the "Grandma Wave" all during one of the songs. He kept waving at me with this wave the kids and my mom do. Afterwards, all the parents and teachers were asking me about his wave. It was pretty cute, but just funny since Grandma wasn't there :)
Thursday night, Madison's school had its Christmas play. They sang several songs and did a really nice job. This is the WHOLE school pictured above. I love our small post :) Fourth and fifth grade were split with kids on both ends. The kindergarten is in the right center first grade is in the very middle, and second/third grade is in the left center. Yes, a couple of the grades are combined in the classroom.
