Alexander-18 months old!

Alex turned 18 months old this past week. Wow, how he's growing! He went in for his 18 month checkup and shots, as well. His current stats:

25 lbs. 12 oz. (50th percentile)

32 inches tall (50th percentile)

Head-didn't get the actual number, BUT 95th percentile (Okay, Luke, Alex, Wes, and Alaina all have heads that come up 95th percentile!!!) Too funny that they all have big heads. The medic who was checking Alex in took the numbers, and when Edward came in the room he said, "Uhh, Sir, I think the head may be off and we need to check that again." Edward and I lauged, said it probably wasn't a mistake, and after a re-check, it wasn't a mistake. The PA and nurse, who are also our friends and neighbors, thought it was funny too.


In big news for Alex, he started using the potty on November 30th, his 18 month birthday! He's been using it a couple of times a day, usually after naps, and he's doing really well. We're very proud of him and glad to see he's so excited about it. We'll see how long that continues.

Favorite foods-cheese, pasta salad, grapes, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, oatmeal, muffins of any kind, yogurt, applesauce, chocolate

Least favorite foods-He'll eat pretty much anything, but he's not a fan of watermelon.

Bedtime-7:15 and he gets up around 6:00. He still takes two naps (yea!). No, he won't sleep longer in the morning with one nap. We've tried. He just walks around and cries because he's tired.

Sleeps/Travles-twin bed in a shared room with Luke. He does really well. He's in a Graco Nautilus carseat, and it fits him really well.

Size-18-24 months shirts (sometimes 2T), 2T pajamas, 18 month pants, size 7 shoe (Big Foot)

Talking-he say a TON of words. Our favorite is HOOOOOOOTTTTTTT, drawn out for Hot.
