Well, the kids have been to their first college football game. Clemson vs. Duke, and Clemson won. We went to Durham to see the game, and we had a great time. Despite the 7:00 P.M. kickoff and 45 degree temps, it was a fun evening. Luke is our lone Duke fan; he has liked Duke since he figured out it rhymed with Luke. So, we went against our better college judgement and bought him a Duke shirt yesterday. We just hope he quickly learns that Clemson is the better school :)
Great seats at the game thanks to the USO. We got an email from Ft. Bragg on Friday stating that the USO had Clemson vs. Duke game tickets for $10 each. Some things are meant to be! Thanks USO!
Yay! I am glad you guys had a great time. We're hoping that we're able to attend the Clemson/Maryland game next year. We wanted to attend the Duke game this year (only 4 hours away) but Clay had to work this weekend. :(
