Key Largo and Islamorada

We spent our last full day in South Florida visiting the Florida Keys.  Everyone had a great time sightseeing, eating, and visiting the beach.

Our first stop was our favorite tourist shop.

Then, we went to lunch at our favorite place, Islamorada Fish Company.  The food is awesome, but the views may be the best part of the experience.

This was the view from our table.

The entire restaurant is outside, with some covered seating and some sandside (our table) seating.

The best part is that you can walk around while waiting for your food.

We didn't even know that the kitchen staff feeds the sharks here at 1:00 each day.  We happened to be there during feeding time.  It was awesome!  They let the kids help feed the sharks, and all of the sealife swam right up for its food.

After lunch, we spent some time on the beach.

The boys enjoyed looking at sea turtles, which were a common sight.

Pretty view from the state park

On the way back to Ft. Lauderdale, we stopped by the outlet mall where Madison bought new running shoes, a ladies' size 8.  Yikes!!

It was a great trip to the Keys!
